Once again, Armageddon was predicted and didn’t occur – DARN. I was looking forward to not having to pay my visa bill. – oh well, I guess I had better put a check in the mail. All or some kidding aside – December 21, 2012 was supposed to be it, according to doomsday theorists. We were supposed to go somewhere or be blown to smithereens or – you get the picture.
Since we are still here, now what? Where do we go from here? Do we continue as though nothing has happened? Or do we make shifts in our lives to prosper in this new cycle?
In the last article, I explained what was really happening on December 21, 2012. The point was made that this was the end of a cycle of years and a new cycle is beginning – not Armageddon. The focus of this article is on what you can do to transition successfully to the new cycle, which has already begun,
What we are dealing with is a different level of energy or vibration, i.e.: consciousness. It is more refined and vibrates at a higher rate than in the last cycle. This energy actually started to be felt by some, long before the old cycle ended. Each new cycle brings with it a more refined level of consciousness. We have been through many shifts in consciousness before, and this will continue into the unforeseeable future.
There are different levels of energy vibrations currently on the Earth plain and all are currently active. In addition, each of us vibrates at one or more of the different levels of energy. The level to which we have evolved is determined by our level of consciousness individually and collectively. If we change our individual level of consciousness, we affect the collective either positively or negatively, since each of us is a part of the whole. Which also means - it is not true that one person can’t make a difference in the world.
Since each of us affects the whole, by our actions – we have a responsibility to continue raising our individual level of consciousness. That is, if we want to raise the collective consciousness. Some of the benefits are: less crime, less poverty, less abuse, less greed, more compassion, more joy, more balanced life, more love, etc. If you are not interested in this type of shift don’t read any further. I for one – want to see all of us live a more peaceful balanced life, without so much pain.
Now – what can we all do to raise our consciousness? I’m so glad you asked. As I said before, this new cycle heralded in a more refined level of consciousness and we want the collective to vibrate at this level. Which means we must attune ourselves to its’ vibration - like the cords on a violin. Music from the violin is sweeter sounding if it is well tuned.
There are several ways to tune into this level of consciousness, which is a good thing; however, the ultimate goal is to sustain it at all times. That said; we have to start somewhere. Being in a transition period gives us the perfect opportunity to not only learn about this energy but also to develop the skills necessary to function at this new level.
To feel this level of consciousness, we must quiet the mind. The use of meditation, yoga, listening to uplifting quiet music will help. The object is to feel it through the heart. The vibration is that of love – love for all sentient beings. When I say "all” - I mean every being including your perceived enemies. I know – that’s a tall order, but this level of consciousness is inclusive of everyone.
Sustaining this level of consciousness requires more than just feeling it now and again. We have to change at a core level (evolve). To make the necessary changes in our lives means working on our stuff, our life issues. We have to dig deep within ourselves and clear out the debris. Our stuff is heavy and the vibration is low, which means we cannot sustain the higher level of consciousness if we are holding on to old hurts. The work isn’t easy but it is worth it.
Remember, we are all responsible for each other. Also, remember that all of the different levels of consciousness are still active and it is up to us – on an individual level to increase or lower the level at which we vibrate to. Doing our individual work to clear out old wounds and heal ourselves helps all of us.
According to the Native American tradition each of us is also responsible for the next seven generations. Each of us is creating our future, now. So, what type of future do we want for the next generation? How do we want to evolve? It’s in our hands.
Have a great month
